Responsibilities

  • Develop MSL annual medical strategy and tactics plan in terms of medical strategy, align with brand strategy and LCM.
  • Initiate the qualified tracking plan to MSL team, established the KPI to MSL.
  • Building up the scientific, learning and efficient MSL team, cross functional communication within internal or external stakeholder.
  • Coach, motivate and develop Medical Science Liaison team members in relevant therapeutic areas, define objectives for the team and conduct periodic performance evaluation.
  • In cooperation with medical manager/advisor and other stakeholders like sales, develop consistent regional medical communication plan for the country.
  • Identify the gaps in unmet medical needs in each zone, customize the medical plan accordingly.
  • Lead the relevant Medical Science Liaison team to develop the report with KOLs, hospitals, medical organization and provincial medical society.
  • Leading team to effectively scientific interacted with KOL and deliver the key message and collect medical insight from KOL, convert the KOL insight by deeply and consistently medical interaction.
  • Lead the team to support scientific activities and knowledge acquirement in each Zone.
  • Ensure the MSL’s scientific activities in compliance with law, regulations and company policies, and SOPs.

Qualification

  • Master’s degree or above in clinical medicine.
  • Fluent both in oral and written English and Chinese.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • > 5 years in medical relevant working experience, including clinical practice, or pharmaceutical industry, etc.
  • > 3 years working in MNC pharmaceutical medical affairs as medical advisor or MSL/regional medical advisor.
  • > 2 year of Managerial experience in medical affairs.
  • Understanding the relevant therapeutic area.
  • Understanding the field based medical communication practice.
  • Knowledge of drug development and clinical trial process.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Proactive attitude and open minded.
  • Facing challenge actively and results driven.
  • Strong leadership with the excellent ability of cross-functional cooperation.
