Responsibilities

  • Identify medical education opportunities: Assess external TA requirements, in particular HCP learning needs and existing educational offering in order to inform a balanced, relevant and high quality medical education strategy and programs, esp. for pre-launch, and newly launch products.
  • Creating a comprehensive medical education strategy and plan: Translate the medical & brand strategy into a comprehensive TA medical education strategy, accountable for developing a medical education plan that aligns with brand priorities, medical communication platform, external stakeholder needs, as well as HCP insights. Maintain Strategic alignment with Global counterpart to ensure identification of synergies and potential deployment of global solutions.
  • Implementation of medical education plan: Implement medical education plan in a seamless and timely manner through appropriate involvement of external and internal stakeholders as well as strong project management and coordination of available resources and involved parties.
  • Measurement & Tracking: establish and standardize measurements/ KPIs to support consistent tracking of all education activities and allow continuous improvement of medical education.
  • TL involvement & Partnership: Working closely with the cross-functional team, identify, engage, manage the suitable TLs in the implementation of medical education activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop & manage medical society & TPO partnerships on medical education.
  • Compliance: Ensure the medical education programs are fully in compliance with corporate standard and relevant policies.

Qualification

  • Master Degree or above in Medicine.
  • At least 5 years of clinical experiences and/or industrial experiences in Medical Affairs or other relevant functions.
  • Past clinical and/or industrial experiences in therapeutically area.
  • Strong leadership and ability to work across functional. Ability to influence others without direct authority.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly and succinctly within the organization; able to develop credibility in a network that spans a wide variety of functional components.
  • Strong business acumen, and deep understanding of business fundamentals with the ability to maintain holistic view of launch readiness.
  • Medical Affairs launch experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of principles of adult education and instructional design preferred.
  • People management experiences is preferred.
